TTRPGs

I've written several scenarios and adventures for TTRPGs (tabletop roleplaying games). I've been doing this for years... These are a selection.

Achtung! Cthulhu!

Operation Curious Warning (Itch.io): An investigation in the run-up to D-Day, for 3-5 players. (This uses Fate Accelerated, although I'm sure it would be easy enough to run with the regular rules.)

ALIEN

Perfect Organism (link): A cinematic scenario for 3-5 players set a few months after the events in Aliens. A USCMC investigation has arrived at LV-426 - what do they find? (My design notes are here.)

Call of Cthulhu

I don't play as much Call of Cthulhu now as I used to. I've got nothing against it, but I think I've moved on.

In Whom We Trust (link): A one-way journey of despair and horror in the Amazon jungle for 3-5 players and set in 1939.

Tales of Terror (link): A collection of scenario ideas.

Fear of Falling (link): Jumping from an aeroplane is a really bad idea.

Devil's Pool (link): A creepy encounter.

The Shadow over Sidmouth (link): A monster hunt in 1920s Devon.

Doomhunt (link): A campaign framework for Chaosium's The Stars Are Right.

Cthulhu Dark

I like Cthulhu Dark's simple rules. It's not perfect, but I find it replicates the one-way journey of despair and horror better than it's older brother. (I wrote a review, here.)

In Whom We Trust (Itch.io and DriveThruRPG): A one-way journey of despair and horror in the Amazon jungle for 3-5 players and set in 1939.

The Dee Sanction

Paul Baldowski's game of Elizabethan investigation and intrigue. I wrote a review, here.

Abaddon's Puppet (Itch.io and DriveThruRPG): An investigation for 2-4 agents. Can the agents foil a demonic plot against Queen Elizabeth?

DramaSystem (Hillfolk)

Although I backed the Kickstarter back in, oh, whenever it was, it's taken me ages to get Hillfolk to the table. As soon as I played it though, I wanted to create my own settings...

Hazelwood Abbey (Itch.io): A Downton Abbey-themed playset - both for upstairs and downstairs characters.

Fate Accelerated

Operation Curious Warning (Itch.io): An investigation in the run-up to D-Day, for 3-5 players. This is set in the world of Achtung! Cthulhu, using Fate Accelerated.

Liminal

Paul Mitchener's game of British urban fantasy. Lots to love about it, and my thoughts (and reflections on a campaign) are here.

Hardknott Roman Fort Ghost Realm (Itch.io): A short encounter for Liminal.

The Department for Irregular Services (link): A crew idea for Liminal.
